About Department

The department has taken development as a continuous process and assured this through its vision and missions. The department has blend of senior, young and dynamic faculty.All these laboratories are well equipped with Digital and Analog measuring instruments, modern equipment’s and AC / DC electrical machines.


To contribute to the nation through excellence in technical education by developing competent human resources for rendering services to industry and society.


1. To develop strong technical, scientific, and professional skills in the students to meet global challenges.
2. To impart quality education to acquire soft skills & entrepreneurial Qualities
3. To inculcate moral values & professional ethics.
4. To induce lifelong learning skills to render services to Industry & Society.



PEO1: Provide socially responsible, environment friendly solutions to Electrical engineering related broad-based problems adapting professional ethics.
PEO2: Adapt state-of-the-art Electrical engineering broad-based technologies to work in multi-disciplinary work environments.
PEO3: Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work.
PSO1: Electrical Equipment: Maintain various types of rotating and static electrical equipment.

PO1: Basic knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, ciences and basic engineering to solve the broad-based Electrical engineering problems.
PO2: Discipline knowledge: Apply Electrical engineering knowledge to solve broad-based Electrical engineering related problems.
PO3: Experiments and practice: Plan to perform experiments and practices to use the results to solve broad-based Electrical Engineering problems.
PO4: Engineering tools: Apply relevant Electrical Engineering technologies and tools with an understanding of the limitations.
PO5: The engineer and society: Assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to practice in field of Electrical engineering.
PO6: Environment and sustainability: Apply Electrical engineering solutions also for sustainable development practices in societal and environmental contexts.
PO7: Ethics: Apply ethical principles for commitment to professional ethics, responsibilities and norms of the practice also in the field of Electrical engineering.
